Shannon BarberMy name is Shannon Barber and I have had the pleasure of being director of Children’s Ministries here at Mills River United Methodist Church for 3 years. Our objective is to provide children from birth to the 5th grade with a positive environment where they are surrounded by volunteers who love them and want to prepare them in their walk with Jesus. I am native to the Hendersonville area and attended Hendersonville High School. After graduation, I attended University of North Carolina at Asheville, where I received a degree in French in 1994. Presently, I reside in Etowah with my husband Chris and our two wonderful children Jake, who is 12 and Madyson Grace, who is 2.
